For over eighty years, a quality recognised worldwide.

One family, one factory on Lake Maggiore and one craft: making good chocolate, and making it well.

The beginning: Arona, 1946.

Lino Saini opened a factory in Arona with a product that, as he would say, children loved. At first it was called Sant’Alberto, in honour of his grandfather: two years later it took the name Laica, from the Italian for “industrial processing of chocolate and related goods”.

Today the second generation of the Saini family leads one of the most advanced companies in Europe in the production of pralines and chocolate specialities.

Vision, environment, mission.

Vision

To achieve and maintain leadership in the production and sale of pralines and chocolate products at an accessible price.

Environment

Packaging reduction and recycling, attention to consumption: a 200 kWp photovoltaic roof covers a significant share of our energy needs.

Mission

Excellent value for money, assortment, customisation and innovation at the service of third-party companies.

The first three ingredients:
Andrea, Lucia and Fabio.

As with ingredients, each brings a distinct and exclusive flavour. Without one of them, the final product would not taste as good.
